Available positions through the Recreational Sports program:

 

Game Manager (Recreational Sports Official)

Summary
  • Work with others to provide a safe and fun playing environment by enforcing rules. They also work as a team with the other Recreational Sports staff to execute the program goals through positive customer service, facility maintenance and enforcing policies. It is important to note that prior experience isn't necessary! All we ask is that you come in ready to have fun, work hard, learn and improve!
  • Entry level (no experience necessary);
  • Constantly Hiring. Visit Clinics for Employment.
Hours Evening (4pm-12md); Sunday-Thursday. Varies based on programming need.
Salary $8.00 per hour
Duties Game Manager (Recreational Sports Official) Duties
Required qualifications
  • Enrolled in six credit hours during the semester.
  • Be on University Payroll (we can assist, if you are not currently)
  • Dedication to University Recreation and a desire to support its mission

 Assistant Game Manager (Scorer/Timer)

Summary
  • Entry level (no experience necessary);
  • Constantly Hiring throughout semester. Visit Clinics for Employment.
Hours Evening (4pm-12 midnight); Sunday-Thursday. Varies based on programming need.
Salary $7.65 per hour

Sports Manager (Sports & Activities Supervisor)

Summary
  • All Recreational and Club Sports events are overseen by the Sports Managers.
  • Responsible for risk management, facility usage and programming execution.
  • Available for information, emergency situations and any incidents which may occur.
  • Responsible for the overall success and timeliness of each Recreational and Club Sport event through facility and participation supervision. 
Hours Varies based on programming need: Evening (4pm-12am) Monday-Friday; and Weekends (6am-12am) Saturday & Sunday. Every Friday, 2pm Weekly Meeting.
Salary $8.25 per hour
Duties Sports Manager (Sports & Activities Supervisor) duties
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in working with sports.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Availability Fridays at 2pm.
  • Certifications in CPR-PR, AED, First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens. (Provided if needed)
  • ASU Van Driving Certification. (Provided if needed)
  • Dedication to University Recreation and a desire to support its Mission, Vision & Values.
