University Recreation

The Facility Maintenance staff is primarily responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all facilities, grounds, and equipment. This position involves maintaining playing fields, preventative maintenance of cardio equipment, and assisting with light construction projects. As a member of the maintenance crew you will play an integral role in the daily operations of UREC, and will learn valuable skills that can be applied beyond college.

7:30am - 4:00 pm Monday-Friday.  

The Facility Maintenance staff will work on average 8-20 hours per week during the academic year (up to 35 hours per week during summer sessions).

• CPR/AED, First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within 21 days of first day of employment (UREC will provide this training upon hire)

• Valid Driver’s License with a driving record that allows for being an authorized driver with the University.

• Ability to follow OSHA and University safety standards and guidelines for operating tools and equipment. 

The Front Desk Attendant is primarily responsible for creating and facilitating a welcoming environment at all UREC facilities. They are also responsible for monitoring facility access, checking out equipment, and communicating any UREC updates to entering participants
