Facility & Maintenance Positions

Facility Technician

Summary The Facility Technician will answer directly to the Facility Supervisor while on duty and through them, the Facility Tech Programmer and Associate Director of University Recreation. Routine cleaning and disinfecting procedures will be conducted regularly.  The Facility Technician Employee will be responsible for performing maintenance duties with the goal of keeping all UREC facilities safe and clean. The employee also assists the Facility Supervisors with gym and classroom setup/breakdown.
Hours Based on class schedule. Minimum of 6 hours per week.
Salary $7.65 per hour

Maintenance

Summary The Maintenance Staff will perform duties both indoors and outdoors. The position requires individuals who work well with their hands. The position requires individuals willing to get dirty, able to lift items weighing 50lbs, and willing to perform physical labor.
Hours Based on class schedule. Minimum of 6 hours per week.
Salary $8.00 per hour

Facility Supervisor

Summary The Facility Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision of the facility, student personnel, participants, and UREC programs while they are on duty. They are also responsible for educating participants on policies, rules and regulations.
Hours Must be available early mornings, evenings, or weekends.  Minimum of 6 hours per week.
Salary $8.25 per hour

Required qualifications
  • Certifications in CPR-PR, AED, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens. (Provided if needed)
  • Previous experience within University Recreation or equal experience at a similar recreation facility.
