Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED - Blended Learning

Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED - Instructor Course

  • This course is for individuals who have completed the Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED American Red Cross Course and who want to become and instructor for that course.

Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR/AED Certification

  • The lifeguard training course is an American Red Cross course offered to individuals with a desire to become a lifeguard. This course will give you the skills necessary to save a life! 
  • Please come prepared to learn and swim with a swimsuit, towel, goggles, notebook, and a pen or pencil. Lifeguarding Fees include textbook, certificates, and pool access.
    • Blended Learning Format
    • Course Length: 19.5 hours

Lifeguard Re-Certification

  • This course offers certification through the American Red Cross in lifeguarding and first aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional. This program is open to those who have a current lifeguard training certificate.

    • Course Length: 10 hours

Lifeguard Instructor Course

  • This course is offered to those who wish to teach lifeguarding courses. It is only offered during the Spring semester through Recreation Management course RM 3222.
