Outdoor Equipment Rental
As a service to the Appalachian community, Outdoor Programs rents outdoor equipment to aid in the success of your own adventures. We work hard to maintain quality equipment for you to use and to keep prices low. All equipment rentals are available any time the Outing Center is open. Most equipment is the same rate for 1-4 days of use with an additional fee for any days beyond 4 that you would like to keep the items. Canoes and Paddleboards (SUPS) have a rate that allows you to return the item the next day or add more days as needed.
We accept cash, check, and credit/debit card payments.
For any equipment rentals over 31 days, please call the Outing Center at 828-262-4077 to ensure availability.

*Refund Policy*: Please be aware that all refunds must have manager approval and cannot happen on the spot. Once equipment has been reserved or rented equipment has left our building, we cannot provide a refund. In the case that a refund is approved, the refund will take at least one week to process.
