Memberships
Memberships at UREC
A UREC membership gives you access to three dynamic facilities; each offering its own mix of recreation and wellness experiences, including an indoor swimming pool, climbing wall, court spaces, and racquetball courts. You may also enjoy group fitness classes, intramural/club sports, and more opportunities to stay active across campus.

Before you purchase, review the key policies and access details below so you know exactly what to expect.
Before You Purchase
- Membership refunds: Memberships are not prorated and are non-refundable.
- Maintenance: Planned or unplanned maintenance and repairs may affect facility operations, services, or access to certain spaces and equipment. Memberships are not refunded or extended due to these impacts.
- Inclement weather: Weather can impact operations. Memberships will not be refunded or extended due to weather-related closures.
- Other disruptions: Unexpected circumstances may impact operations. Memberships will not be refunded or extended due to disruptions.
Parking
- Weekdays 7 a.m - 5 p.m.: Faculty/Staff permits required.
- Before 7 a.m., after 5 p.m., & weekends: UREC lots are available on a first come, first served basis.
- Some restrictions may apply during events.

Facility Hours
Adjusted Hours: Hours may vary due to adverse weather, home football games, breaks, holidays, interim periods, or other operational needs.

Access Requirements
- Members must present a valid AppCard or use the UREC App for admittance to UREC facilities.
- The cost of AppCards is not included in membership.
- UREC initiates AppCard requests for household members after membership purchase.
Family Memberships
Eligible members may add spouses/partners and children up to age 26 to their plan.
Waivers
- All participants (members and guests) must complete a waiver before using UREC facilities or programs.
- Minors require a parent or guardian signature.
- Waivers must include an original signature (no copies or digital signatures).
- Waivers are valid for 5 years from the date of signature.
