App State Alumni (graduated from App) Memberships
App State alumni are eligible to purchase University Recreation memberships that provide access to indoor facilities, programs, and services. Alumni must have their UREC profile updated by University Recreation and must purchase a membership before gaining access.

Members must present a valid AppCard or scan the barcode from the UREC app for admittance.

Eligible Family Members
- Spouse or domestic partner
- You must provide "proof of the same address" for you and your spouse/domestic partner
- Children up to age 26
- Considerations may be made for anyone who qualifies as your dependent for federal income tax purposes
Proof of Same Address
- Current utility bill
- Current lease or mortgage
- Current insurance card or bill
- Current semester tuition bill
- Personal check
- Valid driver license
- Current bank/credit card statement
- Current payroll check

Accessing Your Alumni Account
Graduated within the past couple of years
Your profile in our system may already reflect your Alumni status.
- UserName: Your former App State login username
- Password: You will likely need to reset it
Online Login: Enter your UserName and Password. Do not click "App State Member".
Email [email protected] to provide your personal (nonappstate.edu) email address.
UREC App Login: Select Local, then enter your UserName and Password.
Once your membership is active, your student AppCard or the UREC app barcode will allow access to UREC facilities.
Graduated more than a couple of years ago
To purchase a membership, alumni must set up a meeting to create or update their member profile.
To prepare:
- Email [email protected] to schedule a 15 minute meeting
- Provide proof of Alumni status:
- University diploma
If you are comfortable sharing proof electronically, a meeting may not be required.
UREC staff will assist you in setting up your profile for payments, registrations, and facility access.

- In-person: Cash or check at the SRC front desk.
- Online: Log in using your UserName and Password (according to the instructions above)

- 18+ may enter independently
- Under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
- Each member must have an AppCard or UREC app barcode
