Intramural Job Opportunities
Official-
Intramural Sports Officials oversee the intramural games and provide a knowledge of sports, self-confidence, and the ability to work as a team. They should be able to mediate decisions when necessary. There are Pre-Season Officials Clinics available for training as well as lecture classes that count for school credit. This class can be taken in the Fall (PE1501) or Spring (PE1502)
Fall 2009 Scorer/Timer and Officials Clinic
Scorer/Timer-
Responsibilities of this job include checking ID’s and signing in teams before the games. Scorer/Timers are also in charge of monitoring the score, time, and fouls during the game. Scorer/Timer Clinics are available for training.
Activity Supervisor-
All Intramural and Club Sports events are overseen by the Supervisors. They are available for information, emergency situations, and any incidences which may occur. In addition, these students are responsible for the overall success and timeliness of each Intramural and Club Sport event.
Intramural Programmer-
Intramural Programmers are responsible for he planning and scheduling of activities. This includes employee and game scheduling, maintenance of records, and the creation of new activities. Most importantly, programmers are responsible for the ongoing evaluation of the program and its ability to serve the students.
