Eddie Simmons is the Associate Director of University Recreation here at ASU. He has been with the University since August of 1996. He is originally from Westfield, North Carolina and is a graduate of North Stokes High School. He continued his education at Appalachian State University with a Bachlors Degree in Business Administration. Eddie then obtained his Masters Degree in Sports Management from Georgia Southern University.


Before returning to Appalachian State, Eddie was the manager of a retail sporting goods store in Winston-Salem, N.C.


Eddie has one daughter, Millie.


His hobbies include officiating high school football, baseball, and basketball. He also enjoys playing golf.
