University Recreation
What is University Recreation?
University Recreation provides structured and unstructured leisure time activities for students. It is through these activities that students learn life long skills that contribute to their social, physical, emotional, and intellectual growth and development. Correspondingly, University Recreation serves as a laboratory for training in Recreation Management and related fields. Additionally, University Recreation is a responsible for scheduling various athletic and recreational facilities.
UREC Mission: We are the playground for ASU students developing strength in body, mind and character.
Saturday, November 7, 2009 University Recreation will operate according to the following schedule in order to accommodate traffic for the the home football game:
As of Tuesday 10/27/09 repairs are finished at the pool so Roll Clinics and Kayak Polo will resume as scheduled.
We are now accepting Daye Award Nominations for the fall 2009 semester. This award was created to acknowledge the efforts of undergraduate student employees that assert an excellence in sincerity, loyalty, integrity, dedication, and stewardship for the department and Appalachian.
Deadline for Nominations: Friday, November 6th.
